WHERE better to hold an Art Deco fair, than at Eltham Palace, an enduring testament to the movement's exquisite design? The Art Deco Fair - selling hats, handbags, glassware, ceramics, lighting and textiles returns to the Great Hall.

To ensure visitors are best equipped to bargain hunt better than David Dickinson, Mark Aylward-Greenway, visitor operations officer at Eltham Palace has some tips for collectors.

He said: "Refer to history books about the period and become informed about the popular designers. Take the time to chat to exhibitors for gems of knowledge, avoid items with chips, cracks or other damage and, most importantly, choose something you genuinely love to really get value for money."

Art Deco Fair, Eltham Palace, Court Road, Eltham. Sep 14.
