THE annual Made in Deptford festival gets a culinary twist this year with the introduction of a new foodie event.
Visitors to The Bird's Nest will be able to travel the world via their tastebuds, as the eaterie is laying on a
sampling session of world cuisine which can be found in Deptford.
Think Spanish tapas, traditional English fry-ups to exotic Vietnamese delights and West African delicacies.
The venue will also be hosting live music events, film screenings and poetry performance too to tie in with Made in Deptford's usual creative goings-on which this year include live music from Deptford bands, a carnival and plenty of open galleries, graffiti workshops, furniture design, open mic nights and topical theatre productions.
Made in Deptford, various venues throughout Deptford, July 5 and July 6.
