An auction of items such as an autographed England cricket shirt, a backstage tour at Sky Sports studios, an Argentina Football Club shirt signed by Diego Maradona and a pair of tickets to Ricky Hatton's homecoming fight raised more than £8,000.
The funds will go to The Lily Foundation for research into mitochondrial disease and other metabolic disorders.
Twice as Nice, a designer boutique in Battersea, laid on the evening's fashions with beautiful designs from Balenciaga, Roberto Cavalli, Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood.
