Trapeze artist Khisa Gjargal, from Mongolia, is currently touring the UK with the Bobby Robert's Circus.
Ahead of the circus pitching its talent-filled tent at Danson Park, Bexleyheath, April 30 to May 5, she tells Kerry Ann Eustice a little about life at the big top.
I have been a trapeze artist since I was 17. I first worked in the Mongolian State Circus.
I have been doing this since I was quite young; doing handstands, acrobatics until my body was ready.
The training process is very long. It's very gymnastic and you need good timing and speed.
For every performance you have to be very careful at show time. I usually get good training from performing in the show.

I'm really enjoying it here with the Bobby Robert's Circus. They are so helpful and really care for the artists.
I'm having a very good time with the trapeze; I've been around the world with this act.
I started touring with this circus last year, before that I had been with the Blackpool Tower Circus.
I get to travel around the world, interact with people who are always helping each other. It's a big community; it has to be in the circus.
I'm having a very good time with the trapeze; I've been around the world with this act. Every circus is different. I like circuses in the UK, the atmosphere and people are nice here.
