Hall Place in Bexley introduces entry fee to the historic house

Hall Place introduces entry fee Hall Place introduces entry fee

HALL Place has introduced an entry fee to visit the historic house in Bexley.

From April 1 adults must pay £7, under 16s and concessions will pay £5 while a family of two adults and up to three children will pay £20.

A ticket is not needed for the garden, visitor centre or cafe, in Bourne Road.

Chief executive of Bexley Heritage Trust, Caroline Worthington, said: "The decision to implement a charge for entry to the historic house at Hall Place was not take lightly.

"The admission fee will enable Bexley Heritage Trust to continue to maintain the important historic properties and grounds at both Hall Place and Danson House.

"We have transformed the inside of Hall Place to create space for a new and exciting exhibition programme. The fee includes access to these."
