THOUSANDS flocked to watch X Factor finalist Kitty Brucknell switch on Bluewater’s Christmas lights on Friday.

The controversial self-styled diva, who was booted off the TV show last week, was joined by CBeebies presenter Mister Maker and boyband Eli Prime, who also performed during the 60-minute variety show.

More than 12,000 people flocked to the Kent shopping and leisure venue to watch the star-studded ceremony which was brought to a close with a spectacular fireworks display.

I live not far from Bluewater, whilst I could not see the fireworks I could definitely hear them, no word of a lie they were like bombs going off, my poor cat didn't know what to do!
I can't complain too much though, its once a year and it gets me in the festive mood seeing bluewaters decorations.
