THE National Maritime Museum in Greenwich is hosting another fang-tastic day out this Halloween as The Queen’s House opens to all vampires and monsters on a mission to have fun.
Children visiting the historic attraction on Saturday, from 11.30am to 4pm, will be able to make a bat for the secret cave hideout, share stories of how they have found victims to scare and show off quick get-away moves in a dance workshop.
Prizes will be awarded for best costumes.
Up the hill at the Royal Observatory, stargazers can discover what there is to see in the UK night sky in the run-up to the spooky festival and beyond in this themed show for October half term.
Presented live by an astronomer, Halloween Skies shows you where to look to spot the moon, planets, stars and constellations.
