ROSS Halfin, one of the most recognised and accomplished photographers in his field, will be at The O2's British Music Experience next Wednesday to host a masterclass on rock photography.

Ross picked up his first camera while studying fine art in the 1970s and never looked back.

From sneaking his camera into gigs from the likes of The Who and Led Zeppelin, he is now one of the most in demand snappers, touring internationally with bands and shooting for all major music press.

The man behind the lens capturing all the greatest bands and musicians will be sharing his experiences and candid behind-the-scenes stories as part of his masterclass.

As well as taking the audience through his favourite images and techniques, Ross will be answering audience questions and discussing iconic images in music and the future of rock photography.

Paul Lilley, curator of the exhibition, said: “Ross Halfin is one of the most talented rock photographers out there and we are delighted he is visiting the British Music Experience to host our second photography masterclass.

"The event will be a priceless opportunity for both keen music photographers to pick up some tips from one of the greats, and music fans to hear some stories about their favourite artists.”
