Knockholt Carnival Fireworks at the junction of Main Road and Blueberry Lane from 6pm on Saturday, October 29

Festivities include a bonfire, glow sticks and food including burgers and hot dogs. The gates open at 6pm, the bonfire will be lit at 6.45pm with the fireworks starting at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £7 adults, £4 under 16s, £20 for a family of two adults and three children in advance or £8, £5, £22 on the gate. Children under four go free. Firework Night at Erith Leisure Centre, from 6pm on Friday, November 4

There will be the chance to meet superheroes, Tinkerbell and Belle as well as entertainment from Rock Choir and Bonkerzentertainment. The display starts at 8pm. Entry costs £6.50 adults, £3.50 children or £15 families of four. Children under two go free but must have a ticket. Call 01322 350271.

Gravesend’s Fireworks Display in the Riverside Leisure Area from 6pm on Friday, November 4

Gates open for the free event at 6pm with the display starting at 8pm. Go to visitgravesend.co.uk

Downe – High Elms Golf Course, from 6.30pm on Friday, November 4

Chislehurst - Farringtons School Firework Night from 6pm on Friday, November 4

Pick up glowsticks and wands from the light stall or tuck into the barbecues, candy floss, popcorns, sweets, hot chocolate or cookies. Tickets cost £5 in advance or £7 on the night, available from the school from October 31 or the Royal Parade Beauty Spa from October 17.

Hayes Schools’ Family Fireworks Display at Hayes Primary School from 5.30pm on Saturday, November 5

Enjoy pulled pork, hot dogs, mulled wine and beer, glow sticks and barista-made coffees. The fireworks, accompanied by music, start at 7pm. Tickets cost £6 adults, £4 children and students, £16 families in advance by October or £7, £4 or £18 afterwards. Go to hayes.bromley.sch.uk

Beckenham Fireworks in the Park at Croydon Road Recreation Ground from 6pm on Saturday, November 5

Organised by the 5th Beckenham South Scout Group, with money going to charity. As ever there is a funfair and stalls while this year there is also a quiet fireworks display at 7pm with no bangs before the main event at 8.15pm. Tickets cost £10 adults, free for primary and pre-school children, £5 for secondary and sixth-form students accompanied by an adult or £7.50 unaccompanied. Go to beckenhamfireworks.com

Rotary Club of West Wickham’s 22nd annual fireworks and musical spectacular at Club Langley, from 5.30pm on Saturday, November 5

Featuring hot food, mulled wine and a licensed bar. All profits go to charity, community projects and local schools. Entry costs £6.50 adults, £3.50 children and free for under fives on the night or £15 for a family of four, in advance only. Tickets are available from Matthews Jewellers on the High Street, Club Langley or participating schools.

Blackheath Fireworks on the common at 8pm on Saturday, November 5

One of the biggest in London, and free to enter, every year the display attracts around 80,000 people. The funfair starts at noon and there are food stalls and bars from 5pm.

Dartford Fireworks Night at Central Park from 5pm on Saturday, November 5

Dartford Lions’ annual night includes a fun fair from 5pm with the display at 7.15pm and the bonfire at 8pm. Tickets cost £5 adults and £3 children in advance or £6/$4 on the door. Tickets are available at Craft Frames; EllenorLions shops in Spital Street, the High Street and Darent Valley Hospital; Bluewater Crime Shop; and the Priory Centre by Sainsbury’s from 10am to 4pm from October 27 to 29 and by the Poundshop from 10am to 4pm on November 3, 4 and 10am to 1pm on November 5.

Chislehurst Fireworks Display at the recreation ground from 6pm on Saturday, November 5

The Rotary Club’s event includes a children’s fun fair, a hog roast, dancers from Glenlyn Academy and various stalls. Profits go to charities and other good causes. Tickets cost £7 adults, £4 children under 14 and £17 for a family of two adults and three children in advance or £8, £5 or £20 on the gate.  Go to visitchislehurst.org.uk/fireworks

Southwark Fireworks Night at Southwark Park from 5pm on Saturday, November 5

The council’s annual display is free but you will need a ticket in advance. Gates open at 5pm with a children’s funfair, food and drink and entertainment with last entry at 6.30pm. Go to southwark.gov.uk/southwarkpresents/fireworks

Crystal Palace Fireworks at Crystal Palace Park from 6pm on Saturday, November 5

Once again, the evening features two shows – one at 7pm designed for little ones with few bangs and more colours and the main event at 8.30pm. Both are set to music. Tickets cost £7.50 adults, £5.10 children or £19.80 for families of two adults and two children. Go to crystalpalacefireworks.co.uk

Caterham Fireworks in Dene Field from 6pm on Saturday, November 5

Gates open at 6pm and there’s a torchlight procession leaving from Westway Library at 6pm ahead of the bonfire being let at 7.15pm. There will also be hot food, mulled wine and beer on offer and the chance to compete in the Build a Guy competition. Go to caterhamroundtable.co.uk

Battersea Park fireworks from 6pm on Saturday, November 5

This year’s theme for the musical display is ‘legends’ and the fireworks will be accompanied by family fun and hosted by Virgin Radio’s Christian Williams. Tickets must be bought in advance and cost £8 before October 31 and £10 until November 5. Under 10s go free but require a ticket. Go to enablelc.org/fireworks

Danson Park Fireworks, Bexleyheath, from 6pm on Saturday, November 5

Welling Round Table’s annual spectacular includes a 25-minute display over the lake set to music. There will also be a fun fair, stalls and food and drink. Entry costs £6 adults and £4 children in advance or £10/£5 on the gate. Go to dansonparkfireworks.co.uk

New Ash Green Fireworks and Bonfire Night on the meadow from 6.30pm on Saturday, November 5

This year the theme is the Olympics, with the explosions choreographed to music to celebrate Team GB’s success in Rio. Gates open at 5.30pm, the bonfire is let at 6pm and the fireworks start at 7pm. Tickets cost £3.50 in advance from Pets Pantry or £5 on the gate. Go to nagsocial.co.uk

Riverhead and Dunton Green Fireworks at Bradbourne Vale Road Scouts HQ from 6pm on Saturday, November 5

The 3rd Sevenoaks Scout Group’s annual display is accompanied by side shows and glow sticks and food and drink including hot dogs and burgers as well as tea, coffee, mulled wine, beer and soft drinks. The 20-30 minute display starts at 7pm and little ones who don’t like the big bangs can listen from behind double glazed windows in the HQ building. Tickets cost £5 in advance or £6 on the gate or £15 families of up to four in advance or £18 on the gate. Under threes go free. Tickets are available from Bachelors butchers and the Bullfinch. The Sevenoaks Fireworks in the High Street from 5pm on Saturday, November 5

Entertainment begins in the High Street at 5pm, with a torch procession from 7pm and the fireworks choreographed to music at 7.45pm n the field at Sevenoaks School. Entry cost £8 adults, £7 children and £21 families of two adults and two children, or £10/£7/£25 in advance. Tickets are available from the Stag theatre, Lorimers and Sevenoaks Travel. Brands Hatch Truck Racing and Fireworks on Sunday, November 6

The BTRA British Truck Racing Championships is in north Kent for the weekend and after the Sunday’s racing action, the fireworks will bring the event to a close in style alongside other off-track entertainment. Raceday admission costs £24. Go to brandshatch.co.uk

Family Fireworks at St Mary Cray Recreational Ground from 3pm on Saturday, November 12
