Have you got what it takes to survive a zombie apocalypse? Help is on hand in north Greenwich.
With the highly anticipated adaption of Stephen King’s bestseller Cell coming to cinemas on August 26, it’s a timely reminder that you will want to be prepared when the undead do attack.
The film stars John Cusack, Samuel L Jackson and Isabelle Fuhrman as survivors of a murderous endemic triggered by a mobile phone signal turning callers into zombies.
Thankfully, Greenwich is home to a facility to get you ready to take on the walking dead.
Zombie SWAT Training is based in a decommissioned Cold War nuclear bunker in north Greenwich that has become a zombie observation research facility.
In fact, some of Greenwich’s zombies will even be at the Cell premiere at FrightFest in Shepherd's Bush.
With the possibility of zombie attacks, the bunker is helping to train recruits.
The three and a half hour immersive experience will see you face your fears and fend off hordes of the undead, with plenty of gore and frights.
