Butterfly Jungles, at Hall Place and Gardens, Bexley, from 10am to 3.30pm on Saturday and Sunday 

Walk amongst beautiful, free flying butterfly’s from across the globe as they glide through exotic flowers. Admission: £4 Adults, £3 Children.  

Chislehurst Farmers Market from 10am to 2pm on Sunday 

Local produce including seasonal vegetables, flowers, cakes, cider, cheese and more will be available. Located in the Hornbrook House Car Park. 

Weekend Space Cadets at The Royal Observatory, Greenwich

Visitors can journey through topical workshops, from the Solar System to the International Space Station, and more. Entry is free, suitable for children aged 7 +. Go to rmg.co.uk 

Roller disco at Southbank Centre, London, on Saturday and Sunday

Zarafa at Greenwich Picturehouse from 11am on Saturday

Telling the endearing story of a boy’s friendship with an orphaned giraffe, Zarafa is a heart-warming movie screening for this weekend’s kids club. Tickets cost £1.50. Go to picturehouses.com

Mid-winter Walk at Woodlands Farm Trust, Welling from 10am on Sunday

Horniman Farmers' Market at Horniman Museum and Gardens, from 9am to 1.30pm on Saturday
