Dartford was booming with Bavarian spirit as beer drinkers downed an impressive 500 pints at Oktoberfest on Friday night (October 16).
Unfazed by the last minute cancellation of London's own Munich-inspired event, roughly 90 customers partied and polished off 300 litre steins of lager at Amar Hall.
Oompah band Papa Schnitzel played through the night, as the public munched on Bratwurst sausages and waved German flags after their favourite songs.
Event organiser Stephen Barrett said: “It was a complete success. We were overwhelmed with the attendance and the spirit of everyone who came along.
"We thought it was fantastic and were over the moon to see that everyone who bought a ticket was enjoying themselves.
"Being the first Oktoberfest in Dartford, we feel we have set the mark high and cannot wait to put to work what we have learned this year into a bigger and better version next year."
