Families strolling through the deep, dark wood to Bluewater this summer may spot a furry friend picking up a pair of shorts or BBQ essentials.
Much-loved children’s book character, The Gruffalo, can be seen at the shopping centre in Dartford from Saturday (August 8) until September 13.
"But who is this creature with terrible claws and terrible teeth in his terrible jaws?"
Julia Donaldson’s magical tale will come to life in front of youngster’s eyes as part of the Gruffalo Experience - an immersive and interactive journey using puppets, lighting, sounds and smells.
Join the quick-thinking mouse to explore five learning zones which invite little ones to enjoy illustrations, singalongs and rhymes.
"And his favorite food is owl ice cream."
Robert Goodman, Bluewater General Manager said: “We are delighted to be welcoming the Gruffalo Experience to Bluewater this summer and continuing our commitment to deliver the best leisure and entertainment experiences to our guests.
Could The Gruffalo be searching for roasted fox?
“The Gruffalo is a story that captures the hearts and minds of those young and old and we hope to welcome little mice of all ages to take a stroll through Bluewater’s deep dark wood.
“It’s a fantastic family experience and provides a great alternative to Central London during the summer holidays.”
