Anyone who has – or has ever looked after – pre-school children will know that Justin Fletcher is like some kind of uber One Direction superstar whose presence arrests young attentions.

And the incredibly popular, multi award-winning CBeebies entertainer is one of the big names heading the Hyde Park for the family day at British Summer Time festival on Sunday, June 28.

The man known to many as Mr Tumble said: “It is fantastic to be playing to such a big audience.

“I have been lucky enough to perform at a number of arenas this year already and there is nothing quite like running out on stage in front of thousands of people.

“It is also quite often the first theatrical experience for some children so it is important to make it as exciting and special as we can to encourage the next generation to enjoy live entertainment.”

The day has something for everyone and features X Factor boyband Union J, Britain’s Got Talent winners Collabro as well as a Disney’s Frozen sing-along, Dick and Dom, Horrible Histories, characters from Looney Tunes, The Simpsons and Peppa Pig, Youtube stars and a whole lot more besides.

There’s no doubting that Justin will be a favourite for lots of little fans. And over 20 years in Children’s TV, he’s had plenty of different reactions from star struck tots.

He said: “I have been making Children's television now for over twenty years and different generations of children have grown up watching my programmes which is great.

“Some children I have met think I have escaped from the television and expect me to be about four inches high! One little girl said to me recently: “I never thought you were part of our world!”
