Theme park rides, bars and restaurants and a cinema look set to be the most popular attractions at Paramount London.
Figures released today show 'overwhelming approval' for draft plans for the £2 billion entertainment resort revealed during public consultations in November.
Over 2,000 people attended the events to express their views on plans for the Swanscombe Peninsula which include a water park, theme park, sporting facilities, an entertainment street, a staff training academy and about 5,000 hotel rooms.

Of 786 people who completed feedback forms 82 per cent said they approved of the draft masterplan for the resort.
63 per cent approved of emerging transport proposals and 75 per cent approved of plans to protect local ecology and the environment.

- Restaurants and bars - 51 per cent
- Cinema and comedy venue 45 per cent
- Theatre - 44 per cent
- Water park - 41 per cent
Fenlon Dunphy, on behalf of London Paramount, said: “To receive such positive feedback at this stage in the design process is hugely encouraging and demonstrates the real enthusiasm people are showing.

"While a majority approve of the draft masterplan, emerging transport proposals and plans to protect the local ecology and environment we know there is much more to discuss in the next several months prior to the submission of our planning application.”
The next stage of public consultation events will be a series of workshop events in spring 2015.
These workshops will provide an opportunity for community members, stakeholders and industry specialists to come together to discuss and debate a number of different topics.
Paramount bosses revealed in December that BBC themed attractions will also feature at the resort.
