This weekend, 800 striking buildings – including the Gherkin, City Hall and the Bank of England - across the capital will be opened for free for people to explore amazing architecture and design on their doorsteps.

Open House London returns on Saturday and Sunday with access to hundreds of houses and a programme of walks, engineering and landscape tours, cycle rides and expert talks – all free.

The theme for the weekend this year is ‘revealing’ and it includes a series of events such as a moonlit Culture Crawl through London on Friday (September 19).

Nearby attractions include The Churchill Theatre and Bullers Wood in Bromley, a self-guided architecture Chislehurst walk, and the Prefab Museum in Lewisham.
