Fighting star Jimi Manuwa is set to return to the UFC in November since suffering his first defeat in March.

The previously undefeated 34-year-old, who grew up in Croydon and learn his mixed martial arts trade at Keddle’s Gym in St Mary Cray, was beaten by the World’s second-best light heavyweight fighter when the UFC came to Greenwich in March.

It was the first loss for the man known as Poster Boy, who had won all 14 of his prior fights and 13 by knockout.

Manuwa will not be eased gently back into the fight game as his opponent on November 8 will be former light heavyweight champion Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua in the latter’s homecoming in Brazil.
