Twist and Pulse

Britain’s Got Talent stars Twist and Pulse will be conducting a two-hour dance workshop creating a brilliant routine with a grand performance at the end.

The South-London pair will also hold a Q&A session along with the opportunity for autographs and photo’s. For children aged 3 years and upwards. Other workshops will also be available throughout the week.

The Narnia Experience

Blackheath

Children aged between four and eight years old are invited to travel through the wardrobe and discover the wonders of Narnia in a quest to help Aslan defeat the Wicked White Witch.

The workshops are conducted through drama, dance and singing, and are designed to encourage creativity, confidence and communication skills in children whilst having fun and making new friends.

Birdie Fun

Millbrook Garden Centre, Gravesend

Bring out your children’s inventive side and visit a series of bird-themed workshops, including: painting a wooden bird feeder, colouring in an owl mug, and much more.

Each day will bring a new activity and are aimed at kids aged between four and eight-years-old.

Each session starts at 2pm and costs £3 per child and also includes a voucher enabling children to a half-price meal in the Greencafé.

Imagine 2014 at the Southbank Centre

The Southbank Centre’s mammoth programme of half term fun started on February 10 and doesn’t come to an end until Sunday (February 23).

Listen to and meet the likes of Michael Rosen and Sir Quentin Blake, try circus skills with the author of the Olivia series, Lyn Gardner, and check out poetry, music, crafts and comedy all aimed at youngsters.

Saturday is The Great Enormo dress up day – the Great Enormo is an amazing new theme park that allows visitors to travel through time on fantastically fun rides. Come as a cowboy, spaceman, pirate, sailor, wasp or let your imagination run wild.

Horniman Museum

As ever, this Forest Hill museum has plenty to keep the kids happy, with Family Art Fun from 11am daily, where they can make running ostrich puppets or pipistrelle bat headdresses, and Nature Explorers on Thursday afternoons where little ones have the opportunity to try to navigate in the dark like an owl or a bat (£2).

Add to that the cool new Extremes exhibition which opened on February 15, which encourages visitors to step outside of their comfort zones with games, experiments and exhibits centred on extreme environments.

White Oak Leisure Centre, Swanley

A full roster of half term activities includes a taster archery session tomorrow (Thursday, February 20) for over eights and a Zumbatomic party for four to seven-year-olds on Friday.
