VIDEO: South east London film stars Jude Law and Jason Statham unite in comedy Spy
Two of south east London’s finest heroes star in the trailer for the hotly anticipated comedy caper Spy.
Blackheath’s Jude Law and Sydenham’s Jason Statham have major roles in the comedy which stars Bridesmaids’ Melissa McCarthy and is directed by Paul Feig, also of Bridesmaids fame.
McCarthy stars as an unassuming, deskbound CIA analyst who has to go deep undercover on a dangerous mission to prevent global disaster after her partner (Law) goes missing.
Action star Jason Statham, who grew up in Sydenham, also stars alongside funny women Rose Byrne and Miranda Hart.
Director Feig has recently signed up for a Ghostbusters reboot, reportedly starring McCarthy.
Spy is out in May.
