Lindsay Lohan apparently insisted the crew on her latest film strip down to their underwear while she shot a topless scene.

The US starlet - who is making a career comeback after years of personal and legal troubles - was nervous about baring her assets on the set of her new movie The Canyons, so she asked the men shooting if they would flash some flesh too, to make her feel more comfortable, reported TMZ.com.

Li-Lo, who previously posed for Playboy, asked if the 10-man crew would strip down to their boxers to shoot the sex scene.

According to TMZ, they were a bit reluctant but eventually gave in to the 26-year-old's demands.

Once their clothes were off, Lindsay's scene "went off without a hitch".

The Canyons is a story of sex and ambition among 20-somethings in Los Angeles, and was written by Less Than Zero author Bret Easton Ellis.
