Hugo Dowlen is a young singer-songwriter from Orpington, with a music degree from the University of Southampton and an ear for a tune.

His melodic, piano-based pop-rock sound can be compared to current artists such as Ben Folds and Duke Special, and he also takes inspiration from the classic songwriters to create engaging, appealing music.

Hugo is also an ex-choirboy and avid Beach Boys fan, lacing his songs with crisp vocal harmonies and the occasional acapella break.

He has been performing for a number of years and been offered a live session on BBC Radio, and is now seeking interest from record labels.
