For the past four years, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) has been bringing the finest classical music to Catford audiences.
But cutbacks will be bringing the RPO's residency at The Broadway to an end.
Clearly not the sort of orchestra to go out without a tuneful bang, RPO musicians will perform some of the greatest classical music ever composed for Here Come the Classics, this weekend.
The farewell programme includes pieces such as Bizet's passionate Carmen Suite, Strauss' ever-popular Blue Danube Waltz and, the centrepiece of the afternoon, Rachmaninov's romantic Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.
Here Come the Classics, June 15, 3pm at The Broadway, Catford. Box office 020 8690 0002.
