A SINGER from Longfield appears on a new CD release alongside some of the biggest names in the music business.
Shane Hampsheir, 19, covers Michael Buble's song Home on Your Raise Me Up, which was released on Monday, which also features Russell Watson, Michael Ball and Katherine Jenkins.
Shane was appearing as Buttons in panto when he received a call from Universal asking him to be involved.
He said: "I was a bit sceptical at first, imagine receiving such a phone call.
"I agreed and two days later I was in the studio.
"It all happened so quickly. Next thing I knew, I was on my way home feeling very excited about appearing on the same album as Elton John, Ronan Keating, Joe Cocker and Jamie Cullum."
Catch Shane with a 17-piece band at the Bob Hope Theatre on March 22.
