A leading Genesis tribute band is set to play a rare show in London.

The Carpet Crawlers, officially Europe’s ultimate Genesis tribute show, will bring their Autumn tour to the capital to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the seminal Peter Gabriel-fronted double LP The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway.

For prog rock fans, it’ll be worth hopping across town to Islington Assembly Hall on Saturday (October 25).

The Liverpool-based band is renowned for its energetic, theatrical three-hour concerts.

In recent weeks lead singer Brian Cummins has been headhunted by his hero Peter Gabriel’s original bandmembers in the US to front their new project because his voice is so eerily similar.
