If there’s going to be a great Christmas party anywhere, then it stands to reason it’s the North Pole.

OK, so this party is not miles and miles away at Santa’s gaff but at its namesake in Greenwich.

Some of the country’s best musicians – who have worked behind pop’s biggest names – will join forces for the North Pole’s Xmas Knees Up on Wednesday, December 23.

Keyboardist Stephen Large has played for the likes of Squeeze, Rebecca Ferguson, Duffy, Babyshambles, Caro Emerald and Martha Reeves.

He will be joined by Tom Mann (Noisettes), bassist Steve Walters (Beverley Knight, George Michael, Pet Shop Boys, Kylie) and a horn section who have played with the likes of Jamie Cullum and Imelda May.

Andrea Britton, who has had top 40 hits of her own and shared the stage with the likes of Kelly Rowland and Kylie Minogue, will take on vocal duties.
