Florence + the Machine, Kendrick Lamar and Jamie XX have been added to a mega line-up for British Summer Time at Hyde Park next summer.

The superstar rapper, award-winning indie rock band and singer-songwriter join the Mumford and Sons and Take That in the list of massive acts already announced.

The trio will play the huge festival in the middle of London on Saturday, July 2.

Florence + the Machine’s singer Florence Welch, who studied at Alleyn’s School in Dulwich, said: “It’s a real honour.

“It’s a really iconic place to perform, especially for a British Artist. I grew up in London.

“All of my first gigs were here. How I made it was starting out playing open mic nights and club nights to four or five people with only four songs, so to play in the middle of London to this many people, and I’ve got a few more songs now- so, it’s really amazing for me.”

Earlier in the month, Take That were revealed as British Summer Time’s first headliners for 2016, with a performance on Saturday, July 9.

Mumford and Sons will headline proceedings on July 8, on a line-up that also includes Alabama Shakes and Wolf Alice.

Previous British Summer Time at Hyde Park headliners have included Taylor Swift, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Blur and The Libertines.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday, December 4. Go to bst-hydepark.com
