It has played host to acts such as London Grammar, Bastille and Public Service Broadcasting before they were famous but took a year off in 2015 and now LeeFest is returning for its 10th year at a larger, mystery venue.
Named Best Independent Festival in 2012 and Best Grass Roots Festival in 2009, LeeFest started life a decade ago in the Beckenham back garden of Lee Denny, 28, when his parents when on holiday and grew into a fully-fledged festival.
After years at Highams Hill Farm near Warlingham, the team has decided to move to a bigger site in Kent – the details of which are being kept top secret.
Lee said: “We’ve been crafting LeeFest for 10 years now, and we’re about to embark on our next adventure. We’re moving to a new venue, taking the best bits from our past and throwing in some new ideas to create something really special. A new era begins.
“It will be LeeFest as you know it with some big secrets that we’re holding onto for now.”
Super-early bird tickets, costing £70 for the weekend, go on sale tomorrow (November 12) at 9am. Go to leefest.org.uk
