Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney is set to play Greenwich in his first UK show in three years.
The pop icon will play The O2 on May 23 as part of the Out There tour, which has been on the road for 18 months already.
Paul said: “It’s always great when you get to play in your home country.
“It’s been a little while since I’ve performed here so we’re planning a few surprises and looking forward to playing some songs we’ve never played here.
“We’ve taken this tour all over the world but there’s nothing quite like rocking out with your home audience. We’ll see you soon.”
Tickets go on sale at 10am on Monday (March 9) at axs.com or 08448 244824.
