Mercury Music Prize winners Elbow are set to headline a major festival in Blackheath this summer.
The alt-rockers are top of the bill at On Blackheath, which returns after a successful debut last year with the likes of Frank Turner and Grace Jones playing.
Taking place over the weekend of September 12 and 13, Elbow will be joined by the Manic Street Preachers and Anna Calvi on the Saturday while Madness headline of Sunday, with performances from Laura Mvula and Kelis.
As well as multiple stages of music, the festival – sponsored by John Lewis – also has a strong food offering, with a chef’s club, pop-up restaurants and street food.
The family-friendly weekend is also free for under 12s. Go to onblackheath.com
