Yes, it’s true – Spandau Ballet are heading to Greenwich.
Fresh off the back of the successful documentary film about their career, Soul Boys of the Western World, the London-based new romantics have announced an arena tour which includes the O2 on March 17 next year.
It will be the first tour since their 2009 reformation tour and comes a week after their film debuted at the Royal Albert Hall and was beamed to cinemas across the world as they performed for the first time since 2010.
Today also sees the release of The Story, The Very Best of Spandau Ballet which features all of their hits plus three new songs produced by legendary producer Trevor Horn, including The is the Love and new single Steal.
Tomorrow, the band is the subject of ITV1 one-hour special, Spandau Ballet True Gold, hosted by Christine Bleakley.
Tour tickets went on sale for fan club members at 8am today, with venue presales from 8am tomorrow (October 14) and general sale from 8am on Wednesday.
