FRESH is an evening of hip hop poetry which features top rappers from Lewisham to California. Performance poetry company Apples & Snakes is staging the evening of rhythm and rhyme at the Albany Theatre on March 16.
The show features California-born Metis, who has performed at major spoken-word events in London and New York.
Also starring is Lewisham College graduate Sean Graham. A prolific performance artist, he also choreographs for groups such as the East London Dance Youth Company and the Adesola Akinleye Dance Company.
Fresh is hosted by Joshua Idehen, an acclaimed spoken word artist and veteran of poetry festivals.
