A new stand-up comedy night which promises top quality laughs and cheap booze is kicking off in Bromley.

Hosted by funnyman Glen ‘Lenny’ Sherman, Epic Comedy Night will feature hilarious gags from four hand-picked comics including headliner Tony Marrese.

The event, at Sundridge Park Working Men’s Club, takes place on Friday (October 26) from 8pm.

Glen, who was runner up in Jongleurs Comic Idol, told News Shopper: “I’ve hand-picked the acts – it’s not an open mic night.

“It’s not just some Mickey Mouse thing, these are professional comedians on the circuit.

“It’s going to be massive.”

Joining Glen on stage will be Tony Tinman, Ben Adams and Hannah Deasy.

He added: “The venue is massive and similar to Up the Creek – we hope to get about 250 people along.

“It’s a working men’s club so there will be working men’s club prices and cheap booze.

“It will be a family night, no kids though.

“There will be down to earth comedy, not a lad’s night out with strippers.”

Glen has recently appeared in Loaded magazine as well as The Sun newspaper.

He added: “It was all about comedy.

“I didn’t strip off or anything.”

Tickets to the event are £5.
