Little bundles of joy are being invited to sing their hearts out for charity to celebrate a bunny’s fifth birthday.
Boppin’ Bunnies music classes, set up by mum of two and musician Anna Shepherd, is celebrating its fifth anniversary.
And to mark the occasion, Anna has organised a giant Interactive Music Event for families on Saturday, September 22 in Blackheath.
The party is free to attend, but all donations collected will go to Demelza children’s hospice and For Life, a charity which helps abandoned children in Thailand.
Children under six-years-old and their parents will be invited to join in with playing instruments, singing, dancing, blowing bubbles and indulging in cakes from Greenwich-based The Enchanted Cakebox.
Boppin' Bunnies started in 2007 when Anna wanted music services for the under five-year-olds to be improved.
She set up her own classes in Greenwich and has since worked with local composer Andy Mellon to professionally record two albums of music for children.
Anna said: “These unique recordings created the foundation of our classes, and is complemented by the live music making that Boppin' Bunnies is now locally known for.
“The company has grown over the past five years and now employs 10 local professional musicians providing interactive professional music workshops for nurseries, schools and community centres in London and the south east.
“We provide a specialist music service at the highest level.”
With customers like The Pointer School in Blackheath and Zoom nurseries in Blackheath, Eltham and Hither Green, the success of Boppin' Bunnies has been based on the quality of the sessions, the unique and distinctive quality of our recorded materiel and the musicianship, dedication and talent of the teachers.
Their special, mammoth event runs between 3pm and 4.30pm at The Boys Brigade Hall in Reynolds Place, Blackheath.
