Bromley youths enjoying free summer holiday activities
12:21pm Sunday 19th August 2012 in Freetime latest news By Robert Fisk
YOUNGSTERS have been soaking up the fun in the sun this school holidays by taking part in a host of free activities.
More than 2,000 children have taken part in parks across the borough and there is still time as the events continue until September 2.
Anyone inspired to get sporty after the Olympics can take play football and mini cricket while crafty youths can create jewellery and paint tshirts.
Other attractions include bouncy castles, DJing and climbing walls.
Safer Bromley Partnership chairman Councillor Tim Stevens said: “I am delighted to support these exciting activities for young people across the borough; they are a great way to keep young people occupied during the long summer break.
“We’ve had a great turnout so far and I hope even more young people and their families will check out the rest of the programme.”
