Multi-talented Jennifer Ellison will be flying up, up and away to Neverland as she steps into the eternally youthful role of Peter Pan in this year’s pantomime.

The actress and model will be starring in The Churchill Theatre’s Christmas show alongside Andrew Agnew from children’s TV show Balamory as Captain Hook’s sidekick Smee and CBBC presenter Gemma Hunt as Tinker Bell.

Chris Glover, general manager of the Bromley based theatre, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Jennifer Ellison back to Bromley after her visit at the end of 2011 with the Calendar Girls tour.

“We are fortunate to count someone as multi-talented as Jennifer amongst our cast and are sure she will delight our audiences, both young and old, with her performance in the starring role of Peter Pan.”

Ellison, who was studying dance at the age of three, is best known for her part as Emily Shadwick in Brookside.

Since then, she has been a regular on British TV, appearing on Hell’s Kitchen, Dancing on Ice and With a Little Help from my Friends.

She has also starred as Roxie Hart in the West End version of Chicago.

The talented stunner is inviting people to take a festive flight with Wendy and The Lost Boys - but watch out for the infamous pirates behind them.

With spectacular sets and costumes, pirate ships, crocodiles, and Captain Hook and Smee to boo and hiss at, Peter Pan promises fun for everyone.

The casting of dastardly Captain Hook is to be announced soon.

Peter Pan will be soaring onto the stage between November 30 and January 6.

Tickets cost between £15 and £26.
