A seriously entertaining wrestling show with a fan base of grandmothers and kids alike is gearing up to name the Last Man Standing.

Nitin Ranpuria, who runs RNV Wrestling at Falconwood Community Centre, is encouraging people not to miss the next fight on Saturday July 7.

Nitin, aka The Perfect 10 Vain, is a favourite with the fans who is often at war with the bad guys of RNV Wrestling.

His signature move is The Unprettier which sees him drop opponents face first onto the canvas.

He told Vibe: “Our wrestling show is just like you would see on TV with traditional matches and storylines – It’s a fun family day out and most of the time the parents make more noise than the kids.

“We have fans who are grandmas and parents who bring their kids.”

Nitin is joined on the bill by around 10 wrestlers including Anton Green, aka Mr Clean – the bad guy everyone loves to hate.

He added: “Clean by name but dirty by nature, he is a sneaky tactician who relies on cheating tactics to compete as well as help from his group of thugs known as The Coalition.

“We (the wrestlers) have grown up with wrestling in one way or another.

“We all watched it on TV growing up and have grown with it.

“It’s a unique blend between sports and entertainment so it encompasses my two favourite things.

“Stepping out from behind that curtain and putting on a show for all in attendance, whether they boo us or cheer us, is quite an indescribable feeling, and one that keeps us coming back for more.”

RNV Wrestling’s Last Man Standing show starts at 3pm on Saturday July 7 with doors opening at 2.30pm.

Tickets are £8.

Their Sunday Summer Showdown follows on August 12.
