Psychic Sally Morgan is in floods of tears every night at her moving shows - but the “life-changing” effect messages from the grave has on people keeps her going.

The sassy spiritualist plans to bring hope and joy to her audience when she appears at Indigo2, Greenwich this month.

With decades of experience behind her, Sally has visited 150 venues a year for the last four years, taking bereaved people on an emotional rollercoaster at every gig.

The 60-year-old told Vibe: “When you first start touring no-one tells you it’s going to be hardcore – you have these fanciful ideas of it being all rock and roll.

“At the age I am it’s gruelling.

“Meeting people up and down the country is full-on, it takes every ounce of energy I have.

“But the response from people and the love, the way it helps people – that’s what makes me carry on.”

Hearing personal messages from lost loved ones can be overwhelming at times, and Sally’s nights often involve laughter and tears.

She added: “It can be life-changing for people.

“They feel like a light’s gone out and I’m not saying I turn it on, but I shine something on their despair that makes them see possibilities.

“The older I get the more moving I find it.

“I cry at least three or four times a night – I’m in tears and snivelling, wiping snot on my sleeve every night.

“You’re dealing with raw emotion and passion.

“You get laughter and joy as well.”

Originally from Fulham, Sally says coming to The O2 feels like coming home.

“I walk out not knowing what on earth is going to happen which makes it quite exciting.” She continued.

“That’s quite daunting if I dwell on it so I won’t dwell on it.

“It’s nice to do The O2 being a Londoner – I know I’m from Fulham but I still feel as if it’s my hometown.

“When I do Scotland or Liverpool they are all a bit mental and energetic.

"Southerners can be a little more reserved, however they are very appreciative."

When Sally appears at Indigo2 on May 30 it is almost certain she will receive messages from deceased relatives or friends of audience members.

In her many years as a psychic, she has never been in a situation where there isn’t a soul trying to get in touch.

She said: “It never happens.

“I’m not scripted, I’m me on stage.

“I’m feeling my way in the dark.

“If ever my mind went blank I would give them a song and say ‘is there anyone who’s lost a singer?’”

As well as seeing names and circumstances of deaths, Sally can often smell and taste things when she is about to get one of her “knowings”.

Since she was a little girl, the metallic taste of a spoon has signified the presence of spirits.

Whether it’s a message for a 70-year-old who lost her son, a 20-year-old whose baby passed away or a middle-aged woman grieving for her husband, Sally hears them.

She said: “I can’t bring anybody back but it’s up to you to take on board what I can do.”

Sally’s show takes place on Wednesday May 30 at 8pm.
