Middle-aged punk rockers set to bring back classic songs in Dartford
Four middle-aged guys are on a mission to “bring the fast and furious rawness and excitement of classic punk back to the masses.”
Slider, formed of Steve Tester, Bob Kingdon, Tim Thompson and Paul Storkey, is set to entertain crowds at The Hufflers Arms in Hythe Street, Dartford on Saturday April 28.
People can expect classic songs from The Clash, The Jam, Sex Pistols, Ramones and The Undertones among others.
Lindsey Watts, the band’s manager, said: “Our experience is that people are rather bored with the on-going diet of soft rock.
“They really do not want to hear Smoke on The Water or Summer of 69 yet again."
The gig starts at 9pm and admission is free.
