Bromley’s eating and drinking out scene received a boost with the opening of a Henry’s Café Bar, on the site of the former Ivory Lounge in Ringers Road.

The stylish new café bar and restaurant has received a refurbishment to create a fresher, brighter look and feel and re-opened on March 28.

Henry’s offers a wide range of drinks from wine and cocktails to world beers and cask ale and a menu to suit all tastes and eating occasions, served by expertly trained and friendly staff.

Manager Kat Akpofure said: “Henry’s Café Bar is perfect for Bromley whether you’re looking for somewhere to unwind after work, to enjoy a tasty lunch while shopping in the nearby Glades, or to meet friends for evening cocktails, we have it all at Henry’s.

“Changing our name from Ivory Lounge to Henry’s Café Bar is definitely the right move.

“Henry’s is a well-known name, with several bars in central London including Covent Garden and Piccadilly, which means customers will be familiar with the name.

“We’re delighted with the new look to the bar and believe it’s good news for us and for Bromley.”

Akpofure added that Henry’s Café Bar would continue to be an active member of Bromley Best Bar None, having won an award in the scheme last year for its commitment to responsible alcohol retailing.

The extensive Henry’s menu, which has just been refreshed for the spring, caters for every dining occasion, with classic meals such as fish and chips, steaks and pasta complemented by the Henry’s Signature range including Blackened Chicken Breast & Avocado Salad or Confit Duck Leg. Lighter options include salads, sandwiches and a selection of sharing mezze platters.

All dishes are prepared by the skilled kitchen team, using top quality ingredients.

The drinks include classic and contemporary cocktails, prepared to the highest standards by the team of expertly trained staff. The wine list includes varieties from around the world, while beer drinkers will find a good selection of bottled and draught beers.

Table service is offered throughout the week on food and drinks to offer customers a truly relaxed experience.

Henry’s is open from noon to 11pm Monday through to Saturday and from noon to 6pm on Sunday.
