Restaurants, cafes and pubs in Bromley have signed up for the town’s first ever Food Fest in September.

A Bromley Food Trail will see around 20 restaurants offer mini plates to let visitors try a range of different dishes and score them as they go. Maps will be available in the town centre to help people plan their route.

Restaurants already signed up to take part include The Railway, Sanxia Renjia, El Parasol, Nick’s Café, Yo! Sushi, Benito’s Hat and Project Pie, with more expected to get involved.

The festival - from Thursday, September 15, to Saturday, September 17 – will also see eateries offering special offers, while the champion of a kids’ recipe competition will get their winning creation served up on the menu of one of Bromley's restaurant.

Bromley Food Fest funded by Your Bromley business improvement district (BID), the not-for-profit company that champions the town centre’s businesses.

Your Bromley’s manager Frances Forest said: “The BID is building a programme of activities to support all the businesses in Bromley.

“We are delighted to support the food and drink businesses of Bromley with this brand new event, with something for all the family to enjoy.

“We’re really proud of the variety of restaurants available in Bromley and hope the festival gives lots of new people the chance to discover them for themselves.”
