Bromley and Bexley youngsters showed off their best moves in the final of Britain’s Got Talent but it was not enough to take the crown.

Dancers from Entity Allstars, who opened the finale of the ITV show on Sunday night (May 31), opted for a gladiator themed performance.

Despite one of their dancers sustaining an injury last week, Alesha Dixon’s golden buzzer act came out fighting.

Ending their performance with a dancer pointing a spear at the judging panel, they received a standing ovation from all four judges.

But it was not enough to win the show, as the group finished second from last with 1.7 per cent of the vote.

The Priory pupil Bo Liston, 13, said of the experience: "It was really exciting, the set was amazing.

"Even though we didn't win we were all so happy that we got to the final, that's all we wanted to do. We weren't disappointed or anything."

Bo, from Poverest Road added: "I want to do it all over again."

MORE TOP STORIES Mum of dancer 14-year-old Max, Charmaine Newman, 45, said: “I think it was a fantastic experience. We’re really really proud of them just to get to the final.”

Ms Newman, from Bromley Common, added: “I loved watching it, I had missed the rehearsals so for me I was watching it for the first time.

“Everybody was happy afterwards, they were just happy to be there.

“We were winners just for getting to the final.”

Jules O'Dwyer and her dog Matisse were the ninth winners of the show, winning £250,000 and a place at this year’s Royal Variety Performance.
