As part of News Shopper’s glorious golden anniversary, we have teamed up with local history specialists Britain on Film to create a commemorative DVD.

Bromley – The Way We Were celebrates Shopper’s 50-year heritage and looks back further at life in bygone Bromley.

The 50-minute film, narrated by award-winning actor Howard Ellison, follows the town’s growth from a small Kentish market town in 1858 to the heart of a new London Borough in 1965.
