An award-winning Bromley comedian is set to make her big screen debut in A Royal Night Out.
Recently crowned What the Frock Best Newcomer, Samantha Baines plays cockney girl Mary in the film about Princesses Elizabeth (now the Queen) and Margaret escaping the palace to party undercover with the crowds on VE Day in 1945.
Out on May 15, it stars Rupert Everett and Greenwich’s Emily Watson.
MORE FILM AND TV:
Samantha said: “It was such fun to play Mary in A Royal Night Out.
“I have a couple of scenes with Sarah Gadon (Dracula Untold, Belle) and Jack Reynor (Transformers: Age of Extinction, What Richard Did) and I got to pull out me’ cockney accent.
“I am used to performing above pubs so it'll be nice change to see my face on the big screen. We can see how well they covered up my spots."
