Two of south east London’s biggest Hollywood exports have teamed up for their latest film and we’ve got a good glimpse of action man Jason Statham doing his best Bond impression.
No, Jase isn’t stepping into Daniel Craig’s shoes and kicking off a Sceptre mutiny, he’s starring alongside Blackheath’s Jude Law in spoof Spy.
Neither’s the big shot in the film, though. That’d be Melissa McCarthy, who has once again teamed up with her director in Bridesmaids and The Heat, Paul Feig.
They will team up again for the recently-announced Ghostbusters reboot too.
A few hours ago, Feig tweeted two new pics of Jason Statham as a smooth spy – and he’s definitely riffing on the Bond theme.
