Poor Ellie the giant lurcher was rescued after being left tied up at a shop at only nine months old.
From pulling against the rope she was tied with, she damaged her neck and her face and had to undergo a major operation.
The gorgeous girl – now one and a half – was taken to Foal Farm, which is where Lisa Richardson from Bromley adopted her from.
Lisa said: “She is brilliant with people and loves playing in the garden with children.
“She is very loving, I love the welcome home she gives me at the end of my working day. She is a major part of our family.”
