Audiences have been given an extended glimpse of the feverously-anticipated 50 Shades of Grey film, directed by a Goldsmiths graduate.
The first TV ad for the adaptation of University of Kent graduate EL James’ incredibly popular raunchy novel has been released.
Sam Taylor-Wood, who was born in Croydon and studied at Goldsmiths, is directing the movie which stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.
Having graduated in 1990, the filmmaker was given an honourary fellowship at the New Cross university in 2008 - alongside Blur's Alex James.
She said: "Goldsmiths gave me the power and ability to think for myself. That is the most solid foundation for the future."
Wimbledon-born Patrick Marber, famous for writing the play Closer, is one of the screenwriters.
As the steamy trailer says, the film is expected on Valentine’s Day.
