2:21pm Monday 9th December 2013 in Leisure latest news
LAST year we promised we would be better prepared and have a handle on the Christmas shopping this by this time this year.
If you didn’t manage to stick to that plan, don’t worry, the guys at Lewisham Shopping Centre have picked out some ideal stocking fillers to help you get to grips with it all.
Stick to neutral colours and timeless designs as the classics fit in with any wardrobe. Accessories are the way to go as you don’t have to worry about guessing the correct size. We love these Brown leather gloves from H&M (£24.99) or this fabulous classis box handbag from Next (£22).
Christmas is a wonderful time for the foodie, so why not treat them to gifts that can be enjoyed during the festive season but also something to last the whole year round. TK Maxx has a wonderful selection of delicious Panettone from £14.99 and for the hands-on foodie this Cupcake Set from Next (£14) or cake pop maker from BHS (£20) is sure to delight.
When considering stocking fillers for the younger generation why not take a step back in time? TK Maxx has a great collection of traditional wooden games (£2.99) that are sure to entertain the whole family on Christmas Day. A snuggly Christmas jumper is bound to bring a smile too. We think this cute festive onesie from Next (£17) would be a great addition to any kids stocking this Christmas. Or go all out with this amazing giant bubblegum machine from BHS (£35).
We all know someone whose home is their pride and joy – why not channel that love into the perfect gift and get them something that will finish off a room or add that extra sparkle? We love this jewelled clock from Next (£14) and for those who like having a personal touch to their gifts why not add meaningful photos to this beautiful and versatile frame from New Look (£6.99). Or add some warmth to a festive bedroom with this fabulous red throw from BHS (£12).
The Man in your life
And finally for that special man in your life; fill their stocking with useful bits and pieces they may not treat themselves to this winter. TK Maxx has a wonderful collection of ties (from £7.99), perfect for party season. M&S also has a great range of hats (£15) and scarves to keep your favourite man cosy on these long winter days.
