Enjoy a fashion late at the Horniman Museum

CULTURE vultures can mix with fashion moguls next Friday (September 20) at the Horniman Museum.
The night ties in with Forest Hill Fashion Week and will feature catwalk shows, a market, master-classes, makeovers, talks, and demonstrations.
Stylish south Londoners can also enjoy music, cocktails, bars and food and there will be a chance for pampering with mini makeovers, manicures and hair styling.
The runway in the museum’s gallery squre is going to showcase the work of local designers who will also present their collections in the Victorian conservatory.
Fashion-themed talks and demonstrations from guest speakers will take place throughout the Horniman’s galleries combined with discussions from curators on the anthropology collections plants in the gardens.
Communications and operations manager at The Horniman, Linda Hughes said: “We hope our visitors will leave feeling pampered, enlightened and inspired by the wealth of creative talent SE23 has to offer.”
Tickets to the Horniman Fashion Late, between 6pm and 9pm, cost £3 and can be booked here.
