Greenwich Theatre show wins at Edinburgh Festival
A GREENWICH Theatre co-production has won an award at this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs won the Primary Times' Children's Choice Award.
The play will be at London Wonderground on the Southbank until Sunday (September 8).
Two other Greenwich Theatre co-productions were also nominated - Sam Rose in the Shadows in the same category, and the Checkov adaptation Track 3 for the The Stage's Best Ensemble Award.
The latter two will both be performed at Greenwich Theatre. Track 3 is on until Saturday (August 31) and Sam Rose in the Shadows from Tuesday (September 3) to Saturday (September 7).
Director of Greenwich Theatre James Haddrell said "The Edinburgh Festival is the biggest arts festival in the world, so to have three of our shows standing out from the crowd to pick up these award nominations is a great endorsement of the work we are doing. We are delighted to be bringing all three shows back to London, with two of them playing here at Greenwich Theatre to launch our autumn season."
Sam Rose in the Shadows - a heart-warming story about Same and his son Ivan’s quest for happiness in the darkest of places - will be at Greenwich Theatre from Tuesday (September 3) to Saturday (September 7).
