AN INNOVATIVE outdoor performance will debut in Deptford in September.

Ambitious and outrageous, Spin Cycle will feature a cast of more than 40 people – dancers, acrobats, actors and young performers in a daring musical on the move.

The performance fuses physical theatre, street theatre, clowning and stand-up comedy atop a moving 30-foot tower.

Created by Emergency Exit Arts, the playful story charts a game show and its panel of competitors trying to win the ‘ultimate luxury lifestyle’.

Spin Cycle, which asks some difficult questions of the audience with some dark humour, is free to attend and suitable for the whole family.

It will debut at Griffin Square in Deptford, close to the Albany Theatre and Deptford Lounge at 3pm on Saturday, September 7 before touring the five other arts centres in outer London who commissioned it.
